Silk top printed with the natural printing technique, or ecoprint.
Composition: 100% silk
Each piece is unique, I make it entirely by hand, using a cooking process similar to vegetable dyeing which requires preparation of the fabrics (washing and mordanting) to allow the pigments contained in the plants to adhere. .
The leaves and flowers, chosen for their shape and their coloring power, leave their mark on the fabric or paper.
I mainly use local plants, picked from my garden or along the paths.
Wash by hand in room temperature water with a little neutral pH soap, dry out of direct sunlight and iron at medium temperature. Do not use bleach or stain remover. Natural pigments may be more fragile than chemical dyes; It is therefore advisable not to wash your textile too often, and to store it away from the sun and the moon.
