Ecoprint on paper - 1 day
Presentation of the ecoprinting technique and some basics of etching for vibrant and clean colors, the best plants for good results and the materials used
Harvesting of plants in the garden and surroundings
Realization of prints on different papers then baking
Lunch break
Introduction to vegetable dyeing on fabric and shibori (knotting technique)
Opening of printed, cooked and cooled papers
Tea break and reflection on the day's work.
A summary of the course with all the information and recipes will be sent to you by email at the end of the course in PDF format

Environment: village house at 4 km from the village of Issigeac where there are shops and restaurants
The house and workshop are non-smoking and we have 1 dog and 3 cats

Experimentation of the technique on paper and on different fabrics (silk, wool, cotton, linen)
Making a silk scarf
Introduction to vegetable dyeing - different baths and shades
Preparation of fabrics and mordanting, different recipes.

You will leave with your creations and many samples

Monotypes - Gelli-Print - 1 day
Presentation of the printing technique and the many possibilities it offers, with a gelatin plate, paint and various objects for the prints.
Creation of your monotypes (unique prints) on paper - backgrounds and sharp images using fresh or dry leaves, paper cut-outs and various unusual objects...
Experimentation of the technique on fabric
Creation of an artist's booklet with your creations
