Bio
Passionate about colour, textiles and music (hence the name Coloratura), I was strongly influenced by my mother and her talents as a musician, painter and seamstress, and have never stopped experimenting with delight in many artistic fields.
After developing a range of clothing and accessories under the Fil de Lune brand, combining knitwear, precious fabrics, ribbons, embroidery, etc., a few years ago I discovered the botanical printing or ecoprint technique with Monika Lemakova, a wonderful artist and teacher, as well as the vast and fascinating world of natural dyes, introduced by Marie-Pierre Puybaret and Michel Garcia. These discoveries tie in with another of my passions: gardening.
So my current work leaves a great deal to nature, feeding my creativity from this generous source. I collect leaves and flowers in my own garden or in the surrounding countryside of the Dordogne, where I have recently taken up residence after a long period in Brittany.
Always enchanted by this world of colours and scents with infinite possibilities, I try to translate this magic into my creations and share it with you...
