Who am I

Passionate about colour, textiles and music (hence the name Coloratura) I was strongly influenced by my mother and her talents as a musician, painter and dressmaker, and have continued to experiment with delight in many artistic fields.
After having developed a range of clothes and accessories, under the brand Fil de Lune, mixing knitting, precious fabrics, ribbons, embroideries, etc..., I discovered a few years ago the technique of botanical prints or ecoprint with Monika Lemakova, wonderful artist and teacher, as well as the so vast and fascinating world of natural dyes, initiated by Marie-Pierre Puybaret and Michel Garcia. These discoveries join another of my passions: the garden.
My current work therefore leaves a very large part to nature, nourishing my creativity at this generous source. I harvest leaves and flowers in my own garden or in the surrounding countryside of the Dordogne, where I recently moved after a long period in Brittany.
Always enchanted by this world of colours and scents with infinite possibilities, I try to translate this magic in my creations and to share it with you...
