Ecoprint and Gelli-print workshops - Summer 2022

Programme and dates of the workshops for summer 2022:

Ecoprint:

Discovery of the botanical printing technique (Ecoprint) on paper and initiation to vegetable dyeing.

You will learn to recognize the plants adapted to these techniques, to prepare your supports with different mordants and will leave with :

• a collection of different "natural" papers that you can use as you wish for your greeting cards, artists' books or notebooks, or simply to frame
• a tote bag made of cotton dyed with plants, knotting technique or shibori

Gelli-print

This easy and fun technique, derived from monotype, will allow you to make many prints, all unique, using a gelatin plate, paint, a roller and various objects, stencils and plants.

Next dates:

Monday 1, 29 August and 12 September from 2pm to 5pm

Coloratura Gallery, 21 Grand Rue, 24560 ISSIGEAC

Maximum 4 people and minimum 2 people

Tea, coffee and biscuits will be offered at the break... For the Ecoprint workshops, lunch on site with your picnic (you will have the possibility to buy something in the village or to have lunch in one of the small restaurants of Issigeac, if you prefer).

All materials are provided as well as gloves and aprons, but you can bring plants, if you wish (I will make a list of what you could use) and a notebook and pen to take notes.
